"Temporary Title” (“Título temporário”) é uma exposição onde os visitantes entram e saem à vontade. Essa situação é feita com artistas formando e deformando grupos ou conjuntos enquanto compõem uma paisagem em constante transformação. As ações e presenças dos performers oscilam entre formas reconhecíveis e irreconhecíveis cujas características podem ser esculturais, animais, vegetais, mecânicas ... e, às vezes, aproximam-se do público para se engajar em conversas.

"Temporary Title" is an exhibition where visitors enter and leave at will. That situation is made with performers forming and deforming groups or assemblies while composing a landscape in perpetual transformation. The performer’s actions and presences oscillate between  recognizable and unrecognizable appearances which characteristics could be sculptural, animal, vegetal, mechanical .... and, sometimes, they approach the public to engage in conversations.

“Retrospectiva”, de Xavier Le Roy, é uma exposição concebida como uma coreografia de ações que serão realizadas pelos artistas durante a exibição. Essas ações comporão situações que investigam várias experiências sobre como usamos, consumimos ou produzimos tempo. Esta exposição emprega a retrospectiva como um modo de produção, em vez de mostrar o desenvolvimento do trabalho de um artista durante um período de tempo. Busca reformular os materiais artísticos prévios dos trabalhos do coreógrafo em situações nas quais os aparatos da performance teatral e da exposição do museu se cruzam. Baseado em trabalhos solo de Xavier Le Roy criados entre 1994 e 2010, o trabalho se desdobra em três eixos: a duração da visita composta por cada visitante, a base diária de tempo de trabalho de 16 artistas e o tempo de desenvolvimento de uma novo composição durante a duração da exposição. Este trabalho foi concebido seguindo o convite de Laurence Rassel (Diretor Artístico da Fundação Antoni Tapiès em Barcelona).

“Retrospective” by Xavier Le Roy is an exhibition conceived as a choreography of actions that will be carried out by performers for the duration of the exhibition. These actions will compose situations that inquire into various experiences about how we use, consume or produce time. This exhibition employs retrospective as a mode of production rather than aiming to show the development of an artist’s work over a period of time. It seeks to recast the material from the solo choreographies in situations with live actions where the apparatuses of the theater performance and the museum exhibition intersect. Based on solo works by Xavier Le Roy created between 1994 and 2010, the work unfolds in three time axes: the duration of the visit composed by each visitor, the daily basis of labor time of 16 performers and the time of the growth of a new composition during the length of the exhibition. This work has been conceived following the invitation from Laurence Rassel (Artistic Director of the Antoni Tapiès Foundation in Barcelona).
